Welcome to Elkin Middle School! It is an incredible honor to serve as the principal of a school and community that has meant so much to me throughout my life. As a proud graduate of Elkin City Schools and a former science teacher here at EMS, returning to lead this outstanding school is truly a full-circle moment. I am grateful for the opportunity to partner with our students, families, staff, and community as we continue the tradition of excellence that makes Elkin Middle School such a special place.

We are committed to building meaningful relationships so every student feels valued and connected, providing the support necessary for success, and maintaining high expectations that inspire students to reach their full potential. Our goal is to create a school culture where students are excited to learn, teachers are empowered to innovate, and families are valued as essential partners in their child's education.
Elkin Middle School has a proud history of achievement, including being recognized as a National Blue Ribbon School in 2021. Together, we will continue building upon that legacy while embracing new opportunities for innovation, collaboration, and excellence.
